In response to your definition of a Homeless shelter explanation. A "Homeless" is supposed to allow people to enter nightly. This so called Homeless Shelter you talking about RUN PEOPLE AWAY after they were told lies by some of the people you are connected to. Leaving them to fin for themselves on the street while beds are occupied by RESIDENCE are holding beds monthly. Held inside like prisoners in a camp. If they miss 1 night getting in in time they are threatened to be kicked out. It's a money skeem milking people out of their money that live there. Stop making the public fund something that you claim as a homeless shelter and give them their money back. Learn what a homeless Shelter is a start all over Mr because your facility suck big time.
One80 Place is a homeless shelter, just not the textbook definition or the definition you would find if you were to Google "homeless shelter". However they do assist in finding and usually manage to find and place people staying at One80 Place in housing. Additionally One80 Place does not discriminate. Quite the opposite. In order for someone to get into One80 Place they need to either call One80 Place or show up in person to get their name put on a list of people waiting for an available bed. The textbook definition of a homeless shelter like the type of shelters that you mention provide temporary shelter and food, whereas One80 Place provides a more permanent shelter for usually 3 months or so until housing is obtained as well as 3 meals a day. Just because One80 Place does not match your definition and does not meet the textbook definition of a "homeless shelter" does not mean that it is not a homeless shelter.
