Yes

During the season non-residents are not permitted. However, after the season non-residents can park their vehicle and enjoy the park. I believe the season ends 10/15. Very nice park. Beautiful views of the Sound. Very peaceful. Enjoy!

Yes, call the park office and they will let you know further details. Parking for non residents is not allowed. Permit is required for any group activity.

Yes, just park at the high school

I believe so. You should call them and see

They allow non residents to park off tge Fletcher Ave. entrance. That lot serves as school employee parking and non resident parking if you park near the park side of the lot. I found out the hard way not to park though the Merrick Blvd. entrance without a permit lol. Just to be safe I'd check with the event sponsor. Btw. What kind of walking event is it? I'm always putting in miles there.

I see plenty of groups. I would call and ask if your group is large
