On the Queens side, the closest public transportation would be the bus, q67 to the 43st/54av stop then walk 5 blocks. On the Brooklyn side it would be the b48 to meeker av/stewart Av stop. Its important to note there is no pedestrian walkway at this bridge as of today but there will be one in the future.
