Local Trains that are close to the park are the 4, B and D trains at Yankee Stadium then take the BX6 bus to 161st St & Melrose Ave, then walk down the street to 159th St. You could also take the 2 or 5 trains to 149th St & 3rd Ave then take BX 41 or the SBS BX41 bus on 149th Street to 161st Street and then walk to 159th St & Melrose Ave where the park is.
Take the 4train to 161st them take the bx6 but going down to Melrose Ave walk down to 159th st
The buses that stop there are the BX6 and BX41. You can also use the BX15 but it's a further walk. Google Maps will guide you easily.
