Yes I think so, there's an area with a lake and ducks and geese. The sun shines bright at this park. You can have a picnic on the grass near there under a tree and then walk over to the board they have with a fence to see them. Or picnic anywhere else in the park. I'm not sure how private you want the picnic to be though. There shouldn't be any interruptions but, it still is a public park
