Why do I need to pay for parking?

Sadly you have to pay for Parking here. Stamford Marriott Spa is in a high profile area and due to congestion, lack of free parking, I believe the hotel has maximized their gains by charging guests parking. Kinda like NYC where free parking is almost impossible to find, it makes sense to charge folk. Supply & demand: Less parking means higher parking prices coz more people are in need of those coveted spots. Good thing is going green options like the the 4 "Electric car" charging stations are Complimentary! Otherwise On-site parking, fee: 4.50 USD hourly, 23 USD daily.
