Who wants to arrive close to midnight off an amtrak without cash and have to go running around looking for an ATM...2022 - should be fully cashless, get with the times a little.

Easy to use and every time I’ve parked there, there was plenty of space. The one downside is that it’s cash only, but you do get warned about that when entering.

Metro Center Garage is $26 a day. This is the one with Avis in it. The Stamford Transportation Center parking just west of this building is $10 a day and is 24 hour. But it is cash only.

Planning to go to Yankee Stadium on a thursday night. Will I have a problem getting a spot around 3 pm? I plan to return after the game. Any ideas on how much it will cost?

Going into the city at that time shouldn't be a problem. 3 pm going OUT of the city is usually crowded from commuters. You would need to check metro north website for fares.

Does the Stamford train have an express into Penn Station?

Yes, if you take Amtrak. Those go to Penn, which is the next stop for them. All Metro-North trains go to Grand Central Station, which can connect you to Penn via Subway.

Is there direct access to the metro north station or do you have to cross the street

There will be space. Just make sure that you return before 1:00pm next day if you want to leave the car overnight as otherwise you'll be charged another full day.
