Passport office poorly run, bad communication. Properly waited our turn, but processor said we needed something else from home, she said "just come back up to me when you are back with it" when I returned (while family waited there) we politely waited around another 20mins while she finished with someone else, then she told us to sign in again! This is after we stood by in her line of sight while 10 other people signed in on front of us. We would've been happy to sign in again when I returned had she not told us to just come back to her.

This is the best library in the area. It even has a little used bookstore on the side. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Currently there are no late fees going on as well so that's a plus. Security is always around so the library is safe for a big city library. Masks recommended right now

There is no free parking at the Main Branch. There is metered parking on Bedford Street alongside the building. There is also a pay lot behind the building on Spring Street and the Bedford Parking Garage a block down. There is free parking available at the Harry Bennet Branch on Vine Road and the South End Branch.

As Mar said, it's pay as you print. 10 cents/page for black & white, 50 cents/page for color. Copies are the same. Fax is $1/page.

You will need photo ID and proof of Stamford residence. A driver's license or state ID with your Stamford address is enough. If your ID does not have your address yet, then a document listing your address, like a utility bill or lease, is needed.
The Passport Office is open until 8pm tonight.
