In which tanks did you see the dead fish? If it was in the Seafood Department they would be dead to make sure they wouldn't jump out of your bag before you get out the door.

Survival of the fittest? If all the dogs in a dog shelter killed each other, would you call that "survival"?? It's a PET shelter you dolt. Also, a simple Google search says that no, fish DON'T hibernate, and this particular fish was obviously dead.

Those fish are actually hibernating for the winter. Fish are also very intelligent. They watch opossum and then they imitate their behavior. You can verify this on the internet. Corbett report is a good place to start.
