He won't induce until after 40 weeks with your first. I'm on #6, all with him as my ob. After the first he always schedules me for induction at 40 weeks, a couple times at 39, but i always seem to start laboring on my own a couple days before I'm scheduled to go in. I love him! His bedside manner in thr delivery room is very calming.
He will make you ride it out, he's never in a hurry, he's been my Dr threw 3 baby's, and an angel baby, and pretty much refused to induce until I was like a week over due. But maybe you will get lucky, but my advice is don't get your hopes up that he will, because I would be shocked if he did, unless there was some sort of complication that made it where you needed to have the baby early. I go and see him tomarrow! I went last Monday he didn’t check me and the Monday before that he did and said my cervix were extremely soft I evan started bleeding but he assured me it was normal
