If you are unwilling to try alternative methods then you may have opioid dependency, not shaming, but he helped me kick morphine and oxytodone with epidurals,trigger point, belbuca,aquatic therapy, massage, tens unit and being a supportive understanding facility. I travel for work and have considered moving to Athens permanently until my 3rd failed spinal fusion related pain is resolved, other doctors in the Midwest treat you like a junkie. I hope you find relief because debilitating back pain Is worse than a prison sentence.... give them a try, if you hurt bad enough you'll try anything. I'm so sorry, but you are not alone.
They do all types of blocks shots and medications the staff and doctor is/ are very thorough.
No pain medication? I have multiple sclerosis and lots of spinal problems. I can't do any type of nerve blocks, epidural, cauterization etc any longer.
