I highly recommend Dr.Ashford. I’ve had several pain management doctors and Dr. Ashford is second to none! He’s very knowledgeable and everything he has recommended has helped me tremendously. I would also like to commend his nurse’s and physician assistant’s. They are very attentive, knowledgeable and caring. The front office staff also needs to be commended! I’m sure they encounter all different types of personalities and have a difficult time keeping everyone happy. I’m a retired VP/Manager of a large banking institution in Texas and I know firsthand that the front office personnel has the most difficult job of all, and encounters the wrath of many unhappy and unhealthy people every single day. Dr.Ashford’s front office staff is wonderful. They’ve ALWAYS been very accommodating when I needed to reschedule or have had any questions about insurance and we all know that dealing with insurance companies is a nightmare! Thank you, Dr. Ashford and your entire staff for being so caring and always meeting my needs. Sheri

Dr. Ashford and staff are great only problem I have is they don't all in my insurance which hurts when on a fixed income.

Dr Ashford and his PA are wonderful. The front office staff however need lessons in how to treat patients. And the billing manager needs to be replaced. Patients end up having to do her job for her - calling their own insurance companies and having to get angry upon arrival to appointments because billing wasn't handled! Today I witnessed at least 5 other patients with the same issue as myself- having to do the billing managers job. Oh and forget trying to call to reschedule appointments- they won't return calls so you end up with a missed visit bill and then you can't reschedule for like a month because you can't get through to the staff. Terrible front office!!! And they are rude to the patients as well just not in front of the doc! Doc get new front office staff and your team will be excellent- your team in the back rocks!

This place is terrible! Dr. Ashford has zero care about helping to alleviate pain-he runs people through and takes no real time to listen and actually help. He actually gave me an injection in my back. I assumed it was with a corticosteroid as this is the norm. Nope! It was actually only a shot of a local anesthetic that only lasts at most 36 hours and as a vet I could have bought a whole bottle of it for less than $20…they charged me $2000!!! What is worse is his office staff is also rude and uncaring about their patients. Please, please go somewhere else if you are looking for pain relief…this doctor will not be any help!!!

Greed is a terrible thing. It appears they do not accept self pay as they either do not think people can pay, or they just want the money from the insurance. Ultimately, I understand. Read my review for further information
They accepted ambetter peachcare for me in 2018 and 2019.... don't know if that helps
