The owner was the manager of a Frontera's Mexican restaurants. The food is similar but, with a more homemade feel. The salsa is better than the average "mexican" restaurant. Taco Tuesday is a must, $.99 tacos

Food has more flavor than most chains such as Frontera (I will not eat there) with more options for a step up meal than other places. Service has typically been above others with an exception or two visits. Abel the owner and his wife are often seen talking to customers ensuring the food and service meet expectations.
