Why does the West Greenwich restaurant charge much higher prices than the prices on TV? Saw an ad for a $5.00 plate, so we decided to try Popeyes for the first time. They could not honor that price. It does not seem fair.

The West Greenwich store does have specials, not always the national advertised that you may see on TV. Check with the manager, try calling ahead.

The Restaraunt it's most likely a franchise, which usually don't follow all the corporate prices.

They are individually owned and operated so prices will vary slightly also I you look closely at the commercial it says in small print that not all restaurants offer the promotions and that the prices will vary

It's a private owner and doesn't have to follow the ads and it's off the highway so they can post whateverprice they want..sad but true
