As I know, When you have GC, you must come back USA, within 180 Days Total. And your Total Stay Out of USA will be Detucted in Case of your Citizenship Required Living in USA. So Keep this in your Mind also.

You can't stay there more then 6 month if you are green card holder after six month you must have to come back to USA otherwise you can't travel .
