Why do immediate family members have to pay daily parking rates for a parent receiving a bone marrow transplant? My mother will be staying in the hospital anywhere from 4-8 weeks. We were told parking was validated, but it's not? 8- 13$ /day, why?

Many are at the same situation, so it should be considered in a more positive manners not to be a disgrace. Feeling ur frustration positively too.

Very disappointed to learn that my time with my mother might have to be cut short because I may not be able to afford the the parking. Security could care less about the issues and even though we were told one thing, no-one could explain or validate parking. A million dollar procedure and still, parking not validated. Disgraceful abuse of power by this hospital. Taking advantage of families like this.
