Yes. TSA is most likely gonna eat up most of your time, so it's best to come early enough not to miss your flight.
It is recommended to arrive at least 2-3 hours before departure time. You got to check in, go thru TSA, and go thru Customs. Depending on time of day, TSA and Customs can take 2 hours, before you can even get to your gate.
