I would check with the airline you are flying on.
Not on board but it can be checked in right at the door. Once you get off...it will be ready for you to hop on again. Wheelchairs also get priority boarding....FYI
If you will require wheelchair or other assistance at the airport, notify your airline directly before you travel.
If you have the app for one of the airlines (ie, American Airlines) you can request a wheelchair when you are looking at your boarding pass and your flight itenerary
