At least 1 and 1/2 hours. They board 20 minutes before scheduled time
Where is park ride at airport
I would say atleast an hour before for domestic destinations. If it is weekend better to be 1 1/2 hr before so that you can get over heavy crowd.
No more early than when you normally arrive, however freeway traffic around the airport can be pretty bad. Leave early by an additional hour to be sure you won't miss your flight.
Take Marta the rail to the airport if heavy traffic day. Once at the airport as long as you have your items in order.. getting through security and to the rail to your concourse & gate is a breeze. Hr and half once you are at the airport and is plenty of time for a domestic flight. 2 & half hrs for international flights, however plenty to do if you are early.
I'm late but ATL has recommended that you arrive at least 2 hours early, assuming everything is well on-track.
To be safe, 3 hrs for international flights
I'd say definitely budget an hour at MINIMUM, like others are saying, and possibly even 2 or more. Keeping an eye on traffic around the airport is important as well, since traffic in Atlanta is unpredictable and can tend towards being crazy. You would way rather spend extra time chilling in the airport than potentially spend extra money and stress trying to plan a whole new flight after missing your initial one!
for international i would definitely do at least 2 1/2 you don’t ever want to be late
I suggest an hour or two before to get parked, bags checked in, and find your gate. Just know traffic is normal heavy around this airport.
Tough question..domestic is a minimum of 1 to 1.5 hours.. But traffic and the business could be an issue. If its in the middle,of the day go 1.5 othwrwise save 2 just in case.
