There is always the potential to see cool wildlife in the Fernbank Forest. We saw an otter in our last visit. I don't think they have live animals all the time. They've had baby alligators in a terrarium in the kids play area routinely.
I think it's best to check the museum programming.
I haven't seen any. I think they're supposed to have bunnies and chicks on the 31st for Easter.
