Our cat suddenly stopped eating or drinking, starts gagging constantly, and hasn't moved around much at all in almost 5 days.. is there any home remedies that can deal with a possible blockage in his digestive system?

Larkin has an excellent staff, but is very expensive so I suggest other options. Thus is the time of the year that cats shed summer fur and grow winter fur, so hairball lube is suggested. Also, brush the cat several time a day to collect loose fur in the brush, not in the cat!

Yes there is a home remedy. We had 2 cats they both passed away at old ages. It's a hairball remedy you buy at any grocery store. It comes in a tube and it comes in different flavors. You just put a little on your finger a few times a day and it eats the hairball. But I must say don't let it go on too long. Larkin Veterinary is a wonderful place with caring people I don't think it's that expensive for a check up, but if it is too expensive for you take him/her to the humane society hospital on 11th and Rockland. Good Luck to you and your kitty. 😃

It sounds like your cat needs to go to the vet. If you are financially strapped take them to the Humane Society on 11th Street in Reading they have veterinarian services sliding scale for fee service as well as financing if you need it but it sounds like your cat needs a doctor
