I absolutely love this practice! Both Dr. Levy, and Dr. Ngwira have seen our cat and he loves them as well as the fantastic technicians. I highly recommend A Cat Practice to all of my friends and family. We have had nothing but amazing experiences here.

This place doesn't love animals or their humans -- we are absolutely appalled and our cat is distraught after our experience here. We were running late by ten (10) minutes, driving from far away to the only appointment time available. The receptionist starts calling us five (5) min after our appointment time, while we're in the middle of traffic, and dictating their policy about rescheduling if you're 15 min late. We told her we'd make it, and we hung up to keep from getting into an accident. She calls AGAIN, clearly put off that we hung up. When we get to the office, a little earlier than we'd predicted, she starts reprimanding us for being rude. We explain everything, and finally go into the exam room. As we're talking to the nurse, the office manager barges in DURING OUR APPOINTMENT to tell us off. She wasn't just talking -- she was yelling. Dismayed, we again try to explain the situation, how we were in traffic and couldn't talk, but she threatens to call the police... On stressed people with a sick pet. What kind of person does this? You couldn't pay us enough to come back. What an incredibly toxic environment. We had to take our cat home, and she spent half the day recovering.

Very bad attitude. This is not a hospital this is the office with rude receptionist and office manager witch care just about business and money. They don’t care about their little patients. If you love your pet, I do not recommend this place!

Treated ears for an infection. Well done. He is feeling much better. LJ loves to talk how he feels better.

Questions & Answers

Hi, i just adopted a new short hair domestic about 1.5 - 2 months ago and would like to come in with him for a annual check up, nail trim and to discuss behavior issues. What would the cost be for the check up and trim total?

Are flea bath services provided for cats?

We do not recommend flea baths - flea medications used in flea/tick shampoos can be very toxic to cats and only kill adult fleas, which are only 5% of the population. We carry newer generation topical flea medications that work very quickly. If a bath is needed, we can bathe cats and apply the flea treatment afterwards. If you have more questions, please call us at (301) 587-0052.
