You can bring a bag to an event but you should expect that it will be searched before entry. Pretty standard security.

They have an excellent Security staff. It's possible to bring it but Security inspects all bags and purses before allowing entry into the Fillmore.

They have metal detectors at the entrance. They will ask you to check inside.
