Be careful shopping at the Fairfax location. Their credit card machines are old, malfunctioning, and need to be replaced. The machines do not accept cards with chip. Your purchase is declined but your bank charges you the same amount. Watch out.

Shopped there yesterday, got declined but had cash on hand to pay. Yet still the transaction was posted to my Wells Fargo checking account. Wrong, completely wrong. I already contacted Aldi.us to report this incident. They should replace their credit card machines. Been a customer since the 1990s, from Philadelphia to Virginia, never complained. Because you didn't have a problem does not negate it didn't happen to me.

I shop there all the time with a chip card (debt/credit card with a chip) no problems at all. You just swipe it.
