It used to be such a dope shop with so much heart. Now they've given into their pretentiousness. Also had to cancel once because of covid and they charged me the full 100. Like I get you have to take a fee but come on. Still it's slim pickings in the area so you have to go there if you don't want to go to like a sports cut. Some barbers there are still dope. I don't like the main manager lady either. Weird vibes. A 2 star is fair imo.

My husband is probably the last man on earth to write a review— so allow me to type on his behalf and say that I am so so glad I made him an appointment with Lance. My husband has incredibly thick, dense, and sometimes unruly hair— everywhere else he has ever gone has given him the worst bowl cut I’ve ever seen— not Lance though. It was beautifully tapered, symmetrical, and exactly how he likes it cut. Lance really took the time to listen to everything he wanted and to make it perfect for him— did I mention the lack of bowl? I am so impressed with how my husband’s hair looks and my husband looks so happy and confident since visiting The Standard Barbershop. He also got a straight razor shave and his goatee/sideburns are nicer than they’ve ever been without deviating from his preferred style . Truly we could not be happier with the results. I’ve never seen my husband this happy after going to the barber— from now on The Standard Barbershop is the only place he will go. Thank you so much Lance!!!
