Website shows pictures of new, renovated units. But after visiting and touring, it became apparent that the pricing on the website is for non-renovated units. If an apartment is vacant, they will not renovate before you move in. If it is occupied, they will order the materials and renovate it when the current lessee moves out - and then charge you ~$200 more per month in rent. The prices for non-renovated units is already on the upper end for the immediate area; the additional rent make these apartments way over-priced. The community amenities could use an upgrade. They obviously are not proud of the clubhouse, as we weren't even offered a tour - we wandered the clubhouse while waiting for the leasing consultant to arrive. The weights in the fitness center are rusty, the desks and chairs in the business center are falling apart and look horrible. The pool looked nice through the windows in the leasing center, but again we were not offered a tour of the grounds. After our visit, I received an email survey from Kingsley property management. I tried 3 times to give a non-perfect score and it crashed each time, but when I gave a perfect score it submitted perfectly. Glitch? I'll never know, but you can only wonder.

Went on a tour and thought the complex was nice. However my issues is with their leasing practices. The apartment we were interested in was immediately available, however our move in date was 12 days away. The leasing agent told me that even if I applied for the apartment that day and signed a lease- that the price would not be determined in till the move in date. At the time we were looking he told me that prices were going up anywhere between 8-10 dollars a day. I’ve honestly never heard of such a thing and find it to be pretty predatory. By the time we moved in the apartment essential could be 120 dollars more then the original price. A few days later the leasing manager emailed me to see if I had any questions, so I asked again if this was correct, and never received a response back.

Updating to add context in light of the incredibly dismissive response: It's true that I did not file a service request THIS TIME. In the year and a half I've lived here, my AC has been "fixed" 3 times and every time I've essentially been told that it's an old unit and there's only so much that can be done. When I file a service request it means having to clear my entire day (or 2 days) so I can make sure my dog is out of the way when maintenance arrives. Why would I go through that hassle when my AC was already exactly as functional as I was told it could be? This was not a new issue, it was an existing one I was told could not be fixed that was exacerbated by the heat wave. And Claire, I left you a voicemail yesterday around noon and still haven't gotten a call back. ------ Do NOT move here if you care about air conditioning in the summer. Maintenance has come quickly every time I've had to submit a request about my air conditioning not working, but the reality is that some of these ac units, including mine, are really old and barely functional. I'm not sure what I would have to do to get mine replaced with one that works, but so far nobody has seemed to care that it's frequently 80 degrees INSIDE at night. I need to get out of my lease ASAP so I can move somewhere that I'll actually be able to sleep, so obviously they make that as expensive as they can legally get away with. It's just another corporate owned nightmare. Avoid it if you can.

I placed a maintenance order and Kevin had took care of the issue right away. I’ve lived at this property for 6 months and have always had a pleasant experience. I would recommend these apartments to anyone.
