How can we talk to our sons public defender? We've been trying for 2 months. The only person our son has seen from that office was someone that gathers info for the lawyer....never has talked to his PD and pre trial is tomorrow.

Ask to speak to a supervisor. Explain you have been trying to get ahold of someone for awhile and noone will answer you.

Has an unknown or private number attempted to call you or your son? PDs have many cases and will call you when they have your case open and are ready to speak with you. Many PD clients will ignore their phone calls because it is from an unknown number. It may also be the case that the PD will meet with you at PT. PT is only the first step in a very long process.
