Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial - All questions

Address: 1964 Independence Ave SW, Washington, DC 20003, USA

This memorial is not scheduled to be torn down. There was nothing in its place prior to its construction, so nothing was removed to make way for this memorial. It is an important part of American history and should not be removed at all. There is no "white history" and "black history," just American history. The good should be celebrated. The bad should be remembered so as not to be repeated. How that is done should be obvious.

What so called "white history" is this amazing monument tearing down?

Jeffrey Brunner | Oct 7, 2017

It's amazing how white history is being torn down and then black history being built up. We'll it's just not right. We need to respect the history of this country whether it's good or bad

It is not scheduled to be removed from public view.

American history has been "Whitewashed" since its inception. Meaning mostly lies to tear down what the true people has done to build this country. So do yourselves a favor and sit back and learn the true history of America and not the old racist history of AmeriKKKa!
