If you don't care for children's drawings you won't like what these adults painted.

Superb collections in the setting of an old family home from the Belle Epoque. For that alone, the visit is worth the detour!

Love visiting this museum. The displays of the collection change regularly, so it never feels stale. If you're local to the area, I highly recommend membership.

The next exhibition will be The Americans after Paul Klee from February 3- May 6, 2018
Sounds like a good event, but I don't have any info on it.

Dupont. Get off at the exit away from the circle itself, and head northwest a couple of blocks

There is a separate room for the Rothko's with controlled entry- they only let in a few people at a time. There are approx four large pieces and it is very nice as it can not get crowded.
Just Google Dupont Circle and you will get results that include many fine restaurants
Yes, street parking. There are also garages a few blocks further east in Dupont
