No parking lot at the museum. It's less than 2 blocks from the DuPont North metro exit and there is street parking.
I would plan to take the train. Parking is extremely limited and lasts for only 2 hrs max. Driving in DC is not easy with the abundance of cabs and police not to mention cameras, everywhere. Parking at metro stations is usually available, and free on weekends. Just plan ahead and you should have no problems.
