Check out Father Dave from the Andre house and homeless Ministry. They actually pay for birth certificates, also check the website 211. Gov this is a conglomerate of agencies that provide services so you can probably find something. Especially if you're elderly, disabled, or low income poverty. you can see if there's any help on there as well

Yes they will even if you are living there. Birth certificate social security cards you can obtaine on your own once you get the b.c. at least thats what they told my husband. And its exactly how we went about it. The office for birth certificates its at 16 th street and osborn same building as cps (now DCS)

Your case manager won't, if you are living there. I believe the family housing hub next door has a department that will help. I can't remember what day of the week it is for sure, maybe Tuesday?
