Hello, I have a Pitbull he is around 13 years old , and he is diabetic, his medecines, and food are too expensive for me right now, is there cheaper , or more economical SPCA? D

Hi Martha, I'm the ED at the Alaska SPCA. If you need help with food please reach out to our Food Bank. You can pick up food twice a month; I'm not sure if your boy has a special diet, but talk to Taylor, Aimee, or Kelsey (344-3033) to see if we can give you a hand. This is the only SPCA in Anchorage. Have you tried reaching out to other pet organizations around town yet? Like Friends of pets, and I know there is a pitbull rescue group in town as well.

To my knowledge, this is the only SPCA in Anchorage. They were reasonably priced for our needs, but very busy and tough to get in touch with at times. Call and leave a message until you get a call back or someone answers.
