Amazing place to have your pet cared for. Please make sure to follow the instructions you are given in regards to procedure as it helps everyone!

I love how fast they were to message me about an appointment for my dog! I filled out the form online and they made an appointment within 24 hours.

Hi Ann, I'm with the Alaska SPCA; sorry for the delay in responding. Rabies vaccines cost $23; a nail trim is $17.
Hi, I'm with the Alaska SPCA. It depends on which ones you need. Our prices are posted on our website www.alaskaspca.org/services-prices .
The last time I went, it was around $48 for a wellness exam and it was for a cat.
Give him canned milk. Also if it was a small amount encouraged him to drink water. Usually the pet will drool then vomit and after that he will be ok.
For the time being, we are not planning Saturday vaccine clinics. You can schedule a vaccine appointment online through our Pet Portal at https://www.alaskaspca.org/pet-portal
Depends on the age as well as any special needs etc. A 25-30 lbs. Male under one year of age no special needs or complications runs $121.00 Thier #562-2999
Good place to get an appointment. Walk in clinic on Saturday or every other or 1st of the month.
Go to store on international airport road and donate
Don't know that you need one. Contact the vet.
I havent found a vet yet and I think I've been to most of the clinics. Maybe the vet in chugiak.
Shaylene, we cannot provide an estimate over the internet. Our access is limited; you can apply for services at www.alaskaspca.org/dental-services-application . That is no guarantee of an appointment, but it is the first step.
Hi Deborah, yes, but it's getting better. We do have RC prescription. Call my direct line and I'll see if I can help 562-2935.
Hi Micki, it's 1 degree at my house this morning; temps like that are dangerous for house dogs. Call Animal Control and/or file a Report of Harm through our website, www.alaskaspca.org . It's under the Crisis Resources link.
Hi Martha, I'm the ED at the Alaska SPCA. If you need help with food please reach out to our Food Bank. You can pick up food twice a month; I'm not sure if your boy has a special diet, but talk to Taylor, Aimee, or Kelsey (344-3033) to see if we can give you a hand. Regarding your meds, (Vetsulin?) give me a call next week, 562-2935; I might be able to help, if we've seen you guys. Best, Kelly
Hi LaRel, we can't mail those vaccines to you. However, many villages have lay vaccinators who can give those vaccines. Check with the health clinic nearest you to see if they can help you out. Kelly
Your question is confusing to me, my apologies. Sign up for an account with the ASPCA? Do you mean how do you get an appointment for your pet?
It sounds like maybe your cat is in shock. But drinking water is a good thing, all you can do wait and see what happens.
The website says 100 per cat.

I actually just found the info I needed on FOP website. Yes it's lengthy but my kittens are 2 Mon so I'll have time. Thanks
Yes, I think you pay for the spay and make your appointment at the same time.
They do have a full on vet on staff. Best call and find out. There prices are great being a nonprofit but there may be a wait list for that type of issue.
Cim, the SPCA will sometimes give you a reduced rate on emergency services. It's worth giving them a call.
I understand what he's asking just fine. He's asking about a mobile spay unit that was going to start in Anchorage and Wasilla. Had anyone heard of this?
spca
I work for them at the clinic. The main area for volunteering is at the AKSPCA Adoption Center the number is 344-3033. The staff will direct you to the right connections.
Nope just owner ID chips not GPS. Try Amazon for a GPS dog collar. They work awesome I hear.
Love to hear more ppl wanting to help. Hope it works out
I would suggest that you call them directly for that type of a question. .. they are really reasonable priced.. just have to usually wait
I know they do rabies shots, pretty inexpensive.
You need call them direct.
Would be best to call SPCA. they have a board people post on. Check on Craigslist but call the airline your flying on and get the kennel specs they require. I put my ridgeback into a 500 and Alaska airline deemed it unacceptable. Tried to sell me a 300 that was WAY TO small
I believe they have a website and social media pages
No health concerns and base priced are dog neuters $95 and dog spays $110
