The simple answer is you can not bring it into NY. Leave it secured in PA. You will have to apply for a NY permit which may take up to 12 months once you establish residency in NY. You will need 4 local county reference who are non relatives. A complete copy of the paperwork is at the NY Erie Web Site. NY has draconian gun laws, do not bring your handgun into NY a lot of morons were elected here and made our laws.
