You would need to check with the McHenry County Recorder of Deeds to research liens on property. If the lien resulted from a court case, you could search for the court case with the Circuit Clerk on our public case lookup, but you would need to search that by the party names involved in the case. Guessing that the number you have on the lien might be the recording number from the Recorder's office.

You may be able to search it on their website or go there and look it up at one of their public viewing stations.

I'm sorry I can't help you with that. Calling the courthouse or dropping by is probably the best route to go. Contacting an attorney is another route however it most likely will have some type of cost involved.
