They are actually a very classy, upscale establishment with many snooty type rules. First of all in terms of attire, Men swim in Tuxedos and of course women must swim in appropriate evening gowns etc. Children, normally wear a nice suit or dtesses....Hey, I'm sorry I just couldn't resist. Yeah pretty much you've gotta wear a swim suit to swim. Now, I have seen boys in basketball type shirts but no cut off jeans etc. If you're just supervising you can wear just about anything.
Do you mean swimsuits as opposed to street clothes? I'm sure that street clothes are okay if you are not preparing to get into the water, for example if you're there to watch your child at swim class. but if you are planning on getting into the water then yes appropriate swimwear is mandatory. It is open to the public Monday through Friday from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and closed Sundays. For cost of admission, check out www.mesaparks.com
