Ultimately they fixed the leak but caused a new problem with the pop ups. The project took months longer than originally quoted and no one communicated with us throughout the process. It took me calling all three of their lines multiple times to get a response back. I would NOT recommend them for anything. If my pool starts leaking again hopefully there is a different company by that time.

An amazing company that came to the rescue! After months of construction work with another company to install a baja shelf, new trim and re-pebbleteching the entire pool, we were anxious to use the new pool. Sadly, while that company seemed to do a very good job with the physical construction, their operations team were MIA as we had pump problems (after a new pump install by the same company), pump priming issues, and a leak that was identified only after the construction work was done.... To make matters worse, they didn't have any sort of start-up procedure that was effective (problems were evident, but the various people that came out to resolve never came up with a coherent system fix, only identifying "possibilities", leaving us totally hanging.). To make matters worse, while the construction company tried to detect the problem - a possible leak (and did, but then was waived off by their plumber), we waited another two months. To the rescue - Pinpoint Leak Detection! These guys are very experienced (seems like all of their guys have at least 10 or 20 years of pool operating experience) and understand the entire pool system (plumbing, construction, pumps) whereas the contractor had subs that only assumed responsibility for "their part". In any event, Pin Point did comprehensive systems testing, identified the issues (and spent many hours doing so vs. a few hours by the other company), and systematically, resolved the issues (which were caused during the construction process). At all times, Pin Point (and in particular - Sean - a real pro and all-star) communicated regularly and effectively, were thorough in how they detected issues, understood the relationships between the systems, the plumbing, and construction, and were able to effectively resolve the problem to get the pool going which did involve a multitude of problems. I was greatly comforted by the words of their techs - "we will fix the problem and won't leave until we do. This is what we do." Given what we had previously experienced, those words meant tons. And Pin Point delivered - total commitment to getting the job done, professional and effective with their communications. Rare qualities in this day in age where subs are used frequently on construction projects who don't seem to be interested or take responsibility in identifying or fixing a larger issue.....
