Most stores move their merchandise around inorder to have consumers search and purchase more items. It's a marketing tool.
Last week the package lady said I have to put my items in the way to the cashier. I didn't because the two cars ahead of me they were using the little automatic machine to charge everything. It was kind of confused that they do just with some costumers.
Most retailers will periodically change the location of their products so the customers have to put eyes on new stuff as they look for the usual stuff. It is annoying.
You're not renewing your membership because they rearranged the store? Seems drastic. Perhaps the new arrangement was to better facilitate shopping efficiency, by locating items in a more consistent manner. Perhaps it was to assist in accommodations to older or handicapped shoppers in the population. Perhaps it was to create efficiency for sameday.costco.com order fulfillment. There are geocentric points of view (the archaic though if placing the earth at the center of the galaxy) and those who understand a heliocentric view, that we are but a tiny part of something larger at play.
