6 years old and they are able to shoot 22lr rifle with adult supervision. 10 years old able to shoot center fired rifle. 12 years old they are able to shoot a rime fire handgun. 14 years old able to shoot a center fire handgun. Keep in mind all miner must be accompanied by an adult to the range.
It's up to the RSO's on duty if the kid is a 4H shooter and wants to practice for a High Power match they will get a pass. My ten year old shot a police qualifying target at age ten under supervision with a score of 96. There are only 80 or so RSO's so they know who is who among the 1400 members. If you're an open to the public shooter the published rules apply, minors must be accompanied and supervised.
