Great place all around. There is fishing allowed in the pound. Also seen a secret 2 foot long monster fish waiting to be caught.

Nice park , a park big enough for a little privacy. Lots of aged full of shade trees.

It’s really a shame that the city allows this beautiful park to be overran by the homeless. Every single morning the gates are lined up with all the homeless and their shopping carts full of things, just waiting to get in. As a tax payer it seems unfair that were paying for the up keep of the park, but can’t even enjoy it because you don’t feel safe. It’s never fun to be out walking your dog with your kids and you get approached by a homeless person who is obviously struggling with substance abuse. Shame on our city for allowing this. Take a page from the book of how Kingsburg city council handles their city.

The walk was great

Call the local fish hatchery. They have a certain schedule.
I am not aware of any free months but I know they are closed some days and charge some days by the carload. I havent had to pay in a long time so I dont remember the rate. Trip ad CV isor says it is $6 but google shows this which seems correct to me: Fri-Sun $5, Mon & Thurs free, Tues & Wed closed
You can apply for a disabled parks and recreation, free pass. It's good for a year, and get into all local parks and national parks free. Camping fees are covered with it as well! There's only One time small fee per year..
It does cost $3 per car to enter the park though.
No
Oh ok thanks for info
Yes the park is great for a gathering... Just remember they do charge for entrance into the park in june..
Now that you mention it I do! That gave me a blast to the past
It would depend on what you want around you and how many people are gonna be there...
Yes I'm sure you can have a get together the question is how many are you going to have? We need to follow the guidelines and protect ourselves and others... Be smart about it...
Its $92.00 for an outdoor wedding permit anywhere in the city of Visalia CA.

No just during the week
No one was there last time I went either. I didn't pay.
Just went about 2 weeks and I saw a couple fishing.
Yes
You would have to call them, because I don't work there.
I don't believe there are any boats anymore
It mostly likely won't be open, but you could always ask for confirmation.
Its best to call and ask
Yes it actually has two or three. It even has a dog park and duck pond.
Cackling goose related to the Canadian goose
I don't know. You could call TULARE COUNTY PARKS DPT..
Yes, as long as you pick up your dogs droppings
They have a lot of nice spots for beautiful pictures !!! But u can't control nature and its animals..( ducks, geese, and squirrels)
Yes. They actually use the park as a place to do track meets. And races
There sure are. I have seen some caught and released back into the pond
No, it's prohibited on any public park or national park..I've gotten asked to not do it.
. Corn (canned, frozen or fresh) . Duck pellets (sold online and at pet stores) . Lettuce, other greens (torn into small pieces) . Frozen peas (defrosted) . Oats (rolled or instant) . Seeds (including birdseed or other varieties)
I believe it's free but when you pay into the going to the park that's it
Sylvia they dont have them. The last time they had them was labor day weekend. They said maybe until summer of 2018
I BELIEVE FIVE DOLLARS
Yes, I believe it was $6 for an hour or half hour and they are row boats. Super fun but watch out for the iron poles sticking up in the pond. Ow and don't touch the eggs on the island some are rotten. A man with his daughter picked one up accidentally dropped it in their boat. Why he picked it up... well he said his daughter wanted to see it. Not smart! Haha he regretted it right away. They had to pull the boat out and wash it. Ewwwwww lmao
No, it's a county park. Tulare County.
