Great park, would be a lot better if there wasn’t any homeless. I spoke with some parents who said they would bring their kids more if there wasn’t a homeless problem. They’re nervous that they’ll hurt them or their kids.

Called Visalia Parks and Rec today (6/20/19) and the pad is down for repairs. They do not have an estimated date that it will be completed 😭
The splash pad is not on does anyone know why it's to hot out here without it
Unfortunately the Visalia Parks Department only has two Park Rangers and they only work one at a time, they each have to supervise every park in the city. Secondly I have spoken with the weekday Ranger about this issue you bring up and also unfortunately there is nothing in the Park ordinance that says park visitors cannot wash themselves with the park facilities, whether they are bathing in sinks, sprinklers, or drinking fountains. I am very sorry but the City will not allow the Parks Department to exclude anyone from using the Park facilities.
There used to be an archery range at the sports park but not anymore. They removed it to make way for the new phase of the park which will include a new baseball field.
I wanna have my daughter birthday here do i have to reserve it or just have it there.

If you want a gazebo you would reserve. The phone number is on the website of the city of Visalia. Last time I called they were very helpful and advised that unfortunately because of soccer season all the gazebos were booked. You will probably want to call as much in advance as possible to avoid my mistake :)
