They buy up to 25 books for store credit anytime except January. If you want cash or have more than 25 books, you need to make an appointment. Their website has a page of guidelines.
Yes they do, however, in my most recent trip there I realized they don't suck nearly as many used books as they used to, which is pretty lame actually.

I would have to assume that they do. But based on their stock they seem to be pretty selective wity theur used stuff, it all looked quality
