Our group insurance ended Dec. 1st. At present time we have no insurance. I downloaded and completed form 10-10EZ. MY question is should I enroll my husband in Medicare? He is eligible . I'm not sure what to do with today being the 7th.

The enrollment office at the VA can sign him up for care. What the payor source will depend on a number of factors. Vetetans benefits administration located on the other end of the medical venter center can help with possible service connected injuries and benefits for that depends on if you want to use any private insurance or not

I would do Medicare but normally it doesn't take that long to get approval from the VA

We strongly encourage you to enroll in VA Health Care, and apply for a service connected disability. Only you can make a decision on Medicare, but having it does offer additional options. Please reach out to us and let us help you get oriented in the VA system. Call Public Affairs at 307-778-7523, and someone will be happy to show you around.
