Thanks for the inquiry! I do not usually recommend the "floating" lvt for basements due to the possibility of flooding. If the water gets under the floor, it will be come trapped! The glued down version of the Luxury Vinyl Planks would be a better option to resist that issue. We have both options in our showroom and would be happy to show you in person!
