I have a little over an hour from arriving at Terminal 2 to departing on Turkish Airlines in Terminal 5.
Is that enough time? do I need to recheck my bags?

You should be able to check your bags truth one airline to another but check with the flight attendant. I don't know if you can make it from 2 to 5 that fast. I think that's risky
