Six hours means you could run downtown real quick and take pictures, then come back
If you're a shopper, the Fashion Outlet mall is close and has a lot of good stores. The Rosemont Entertainment District is near the mall too - it's kind of over the top, but can be fun fun. There isn't much else of note else nearby.
