Not rooms sitting areas. Yes the airport is 24/7. The airport does have a hotel inside. Its in terminal 2 by the CTA blue line.
If you decide to go to a hotel outside of the airport, just remember you and your luggage will need to go through the security check point again. My husband was delayed at a different airport and when he went back through, they found a small knife tucked way down in a pocket of his bag. He had forgotten it was in the bag, made it through other scanners, but it was then confiscated. He had the option of taking it to his car, which didn't work since it was parked in Michigan! 🙂🙂
If ur on the secure side u can sleep at the airport but there is no room to sleep in. If u ask a gate agent they may get u a pillow and blanket off of one planes for u.
This is what I found on Google copy paste Sleeping inside Chicago O'Hare Airport Overnight. Chicago O'Hare Airport is technically open 24-hours, though Security checkpoints do shut down at night, except at Terminal 5.
