Hopefully, she was booked as an unaccompanied minor (a fee that must be paid for this service). If so, she will be escorted from the arrival gate to a designated meeting point. You asked about the location: each terminal might be different, so call American Airlines 800 number to find out where it is for the terminal she will be arriving at. You can also ask them if there is a way for you to obtain a “gate pass,” which will allow you to get through security and meet her at her arrival gate.

The best thing to do would be to get there early and ask one of the attendants that you find in the lobby for direction. The assistance there is very helpful when needed as far as directions.
Most American Airlines flights come in through terminal 3, but sometimes 2. Once you figure out which terminal, I would suggest parking and meeting her at the AA security checkpoint exit or baggage claim. There is ample signage to find it.
