Be there before 1.5 hrs for international flights and atleast 45 min before ur inland flights
Domestic flights start boarding typically 30min before departure and if you are checking bags, you have to go to the counter. Do yourself a favor and check in on line even if checking bags. Having said that, security lines can be pretty long specially at peak times. Yes give yourself between 1 and 2hrs to be safe. Prepare yourself, nothing in your packets, metal out, id and boarding pass in hand, no large containers of any liquids, etc...
The lines are usually pretty long, but they move quickly. Give yourself a solid hr before boarding.
Nearly 2 hrs for international & an hour for domestic flights before departure.
I'd check-in online 24 hours before your flight so you can pick your seat if you haven't done that yet when you purchased your ticket. Arrive at the airport 3 hours, drop off your luggage. If you have pre ✔ marked on your ticket, it would be quicker but after your passport and boarding pass are checked, you still need to go to the general lines to go through x-ray. It will take you up to 2 hours to get through all that.
With this airport, you never know. It once took me a solid hour to get through security, so I'd allow at least an hour and a half because if you miss the flight, many airlines aren't particularly helpful.
Usually allow at least 30 minutes unless you are pre-TSA
