Parking in Chicago is expensive, you're better off taking a train or plane and just buying a $5 CTA pass and go anywhere and everywhere you want on public transport.

$22 Parking Novemver 2021
Absolutely not

You have to pay for parking
It is pay to park.
Absolutely not Chicago will charge you every where they can I parked at Cumberland the very outskirts of Chicago and it was 9$ going to city it 22$+ for parking its not for the not so wealthy. My trip cost about 300$ with lunch for 4 people. Parking, entrance. Lunch plus time bus, train, cta to include how difficult it is to navigate this comming from a Chicago native
If you manage to find street parking But most of it is permit parking or pay to park. When I went I paid $22 to park in the museum parking lot(my opinion recommend easy access in and out of museum moment you pull into garage your in the museum haha no walking far or anything)
